Privacy policy

Sailing Weekly is a free weekly email about sailing charter deals. It's run by Maciej Chmura, ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 1, 32-020 Wieliczka, Poland, who is responsible for your data. You can reach us at [email protected].

When you subscribe

• What we collect: your email address. Our newsletter service also records the page you signed up on, when you signed up, and whether you open our emails and click their links.
• Why: to send you one email a week with charter deals, and to see which deals readers find useful.
• Legal basis: your consent, which you give by entering your email and pressing Subscribe (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Who processes it: beehiiv, the service that stores our subscriber list and sends the newsletter for us. beehiiv is based in the United States, so your email address is stored there.
• How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe. After that we only keep a record that you unsubscribed, so we don't email you again by mistake.
• We never sell your email address or share it with charter companies or advertisers.

Unsubscribe or delete your data

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works straight away. You can also email us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Polish data protection authority, UODO, or the authority in your own country.

On this website

We use PostHog analytics without cookies, as described on our affiliate disclosure page. The signup form is provided by beehiiv. Links to booking sites may be affiliate links. When you click one, the booking site can see that you came from us.
