| Catamaran, 45–55 ft | €6,000–9,000 | €10,000–18,000 | [Up & Sail] |
- These are base rates from Split. Marina fees typically run €30–80 a night on top. [Up & Sail]
When to go
- Shoulder months (May, June, September, October) are much cheaper than July and August, when Saturday turnovers in Split are extremely busy. [Up & Sail]
What you need: licence or skipper
- The skipper must hold a certificate of competence that Croatia recognises (for example an ICC or RYA Day Skipper) plus a VHF radio operator's licence, and both must be originals. Catamarans of 44 ft and over need a more detailed sailing résumé. [Up & Sail]
Requirements vary by charter company. Always check with yours before you book.
Main charter bases
- Split area: ACI Marina Split, Marina Kaštela and ACI Marina Trogir. [Up & Sail]
